- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
Make sure the nuts are clean of any pieces of shell. Place in a 2-inch deep baking pan so that the nuts can ba stirred. Bake at 350F for about 20 minutes.
In a 1-quart bowl, mix the butter, Worcestershire sauce and garlic salt. Remove the nuts from the oven. Stir in the butter mixture. Return to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes. Stir and taste. If not quite done, bake another 5-6 minutes.
Be careful, as they can suddenly become overdone at the end of the cooking time.
Salt to taste while hot. Makes 2 cups.
